October's Stamp Collecting Month event is now being planned. Our first was at The Mall at Greece Ridge Center in 1995, followed by two visits to EastView Mall, 1998's visit to Marketplace Mall, 1999 at Irondequoit Mall, and 2000 back at EastView. We had our first open house in 2001 at the Eisenhart Auditorium basement of the Rochester Museum & Science Center, followed by open houses at our present location where we have this year's event.

Our "Open House" takes place on Thursday, October 9 from 7-9 PM at the Twelve Corners Episcopal Church on 1200 South Winton Road. As in the past, RPA member volunteers will be on hand to answer questions about collecting from the general public. We'll have table displays, free stamp give-a-ways, archive material, exhibits, and more, including the postmarks above.
